Pietà Hotspurs and Attard won the Youth A Knock-Out and Youth B Knock-Out respectively after defeating Hibernians and Qormi respectively on Saturday.
In the Youth A Knock-Out final, the Hotspurs defeated Section A winners Hibernians 5-4 on penalties following a goalless draw at the end of the ninety minutes and extra-time.
On the other hand, Attard crowned a memorable season with the double as they beat Qormi 3-1 in a final which brought against each other the two teams that finished their league commitments in the top two places in Section B and hence won promotion to Section A.
The season for the youth competitions organised by the Malta Football Association is now over.
In the Youth League, Hibernians won Section A, ahead of Melita. Mosta and San Gwann were relegated to Section B. Mosta lost 0-3 to St. Andrews in a Relegation Decider.
In Section B, Attard placed first ahead of Qormi. Mellieha and Tarxien Rainbows were relegated to Section C.
Rabat Ajax won Section C and secured promotion to Section B together with Msida St. Joseph. Sirens and Dingli Swallows were relegated to Section D. These will be replaced by Gudja United and Siggiewi who were promoted from Section D.
