Msida St. Joseph collected their first three points as they shocked Mellieha, beating them 4-1 in a match from the BOV Second Division at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. The Blues had claimed maximum points from the first two matches.
In another match at the Centenary Stadium, Sta. Venera Lightnings registered their first win as they beat Zebbug Rangers 2-1.
At the Charles Abela Stadium, Luqa St. Andrews and Gharghur shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw while in another clash between two newly-promoted sides, Attard and Siggiewi also earned a point in a 1-1 draw.
At the Luxol Stadium, Kirkop United defeated Zurrieq 3-2 while Gudja United beat Senglea Athletic 2-1.
Gzira and Gudja lead the way with seven points, followed by Mellieha and Kirkop on 6, Luqa, San Gwann and Siggiewi on 5, Zurrieq, Msida, Sta. Venera 3, Zebbug 2, Attard 1 and Senglea without any points.
