Pembroke Athleta registered the third win in the BOV Third Division as they defeated Qrendi 2-0 at the Luxol Stadium.

At the Centenary Stadium, Xghajra Tornados and Mtarfa shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw while Fgura United defeated Marsa 2-1.

At the Charles Abela Stadium, Mdina Knights registered their second win as they beat Marsaskala 3-0. On the other hand, Ghaxaq moved second as they defeated Mgarr United 2-1. For Mgarr, this was the first defeat after winning the first two matches.

In another match, Sirens beat Kalkara 3-2.

Pembroke lead the way with nine points, followed by Ghaxaq on 7, Mdina, Mgarr and Sirens 6, Mtarfa, Xghajra, Fgura, Qrendi 4, Marsaskala 3, Santa Lucia and Marsa 1 and Kalkara 1.

On Tuesday, Swieqi United take on Santa Lucia at the Luxol Stadium.
