Two Premier League players suspended

Two Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after collecting a fourth yellow card during the weekend

Ryan Scicluna (Birkirkara) and Steve Sadowski (Tarxien) are therefore ruled out of the game against Balzan Youths and Sliema Wanderers respectively.

In Division 1, Ezequiel Giaccaglia Belzuz (Pieta), Emanuel Sevasta, Anthony Bonello and Heathcliff Schembri (St. George’s) were banned for one match.

William Camenzuli (Gudja), Bryan Falzon (Kirkop), Keith Fenech (Mellieha), James Borg and Keith Vella (San Gwann), Rio Micallef (Senglea), Rudi Carbonaro (St. Venera), Mark Brincat (Zebbug) were suspended for one match in Division 2.

Three Kalkara players were handed long bans as Clayton Spiteri (Kalkara) was suspended for one year while Fulvio Azzopardi and Clive Caruana were banned for three matches. Jesmond Scicluna (Marsaskala) and Jonathan Grech (Sirens) were banned for one match.

In the Youth League, Julian Iwueke (Attard), Greg Marney (Floriana), Francesco Azzopardi and Isaac Zammit Cordina (Mtarfa), Larson Mallia (Pieta) and John Paul Calleja (St. Andrews) were suspended for one match.
