Two Premier League players suspended

Two players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after the first matches from the BOV Premier League.

Balzan Youths goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri and Qormi defender Kenneth Scicluna are therefore ruled out of the games against Sliema Wanderers and Tarxien Rainbows respectively.

Qormi president Redeno Apap was also banned for two matches.

In Division 2, Mark Camilleri (Siggiewi) was banned for two matches while Aaron Agius (Zebbug) was suspended for one game. Charles Cachia and Stefan Camilleri (Kalkara) and Rodney Caruana (Pembroke) were handed a one-match ban in Division 3.

In the Youth League, Dylan Sammut (Hibernians) and Emilio Barbara (Zurrieq) were banned for one match while Matthew Barbara (Gudja), Steve Gauci (Mosta) and Kurt Drago (Naxxar) were suspended for one match in the Youth Knock-Out. Alan Cutajar (Gudja) was suspended for two matches while Naxxar Lions official Dione Drago was banned for four matches.
