Recently, a new football club was established and recognised by the Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport by the name of Safi FC.

The club’s main target is to boost the football scene in Hal Safi. A committee has been established to carry out the duties and a statute has been formed. Presently Safi FC has already got a female football team training but the club is in the process of establishing a male team to compete in the local competitions organised by the Malta Football Association.

In order to get things done, the club is looking for those players who are ready to join in both in the female and the male teams. Training will start between the end of May and beginning of June.

If you are interested in playing in a national league as from next year, please contact the club and its committee by sending an email on: info@safifc.com stating all your details, contact numbers and date of birth. At a later stage, those who submit their details will be contacted by the committee to set up a players meeting in the coming days. While the President and the committee would like to thank all those presently helping out, would also be even interested in meeting anyone who is interested to help off the pitch with the running of the club and those who are willing to sponsor this initiative.
