Birkirkara had four players suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following last week’s BOV Premier League clash with Hibernians.

Rowen Muscat and Nikola Vukanac – who were both sent off, Angus Buhagiar and Shaun Bajada – who picked a fourth yellow card are therefore ruled out of Sunday’s clash with Sliema Wanderers. Rodrigo Pereira is also ruled out as he serves the second of his two-match ban.

Jason Good (Luqa), William Borg and Luke Cauchi (Mellieha) were susepnded for one match in Division 2 while Martin Portelli (Fgura) was banned for one match in Division 3. Marsaskala official Alan Mifsud was banned for two matches.

Lee Joe Schembri (Birzebbuga), Warren Carabott and Martin Busuttil (Ghaxaq), Daniel Vella (Mellieha), Jean Carl Grech, Ryan Farrugia and Adrian Abdilla (Mqabba), Daniel Gatt Baldacchino and Kristian Sultana (Pembroke) were all suspended for one match in the Youth League.
