The Heineken Beach Soccer League 2012 kicks-off on Monday at the newly-built beach soccer stadium at the Pembroke Sports Complex. This stadium will be a permanent one where Malta Beach Soccer will host its competitions, With the help of the Malta Football Association, Pembroke Athleta and the Kunsill Malti ghall-Isport, the association will continue working for a better standard stadium.

Fifteen teams will participate in this year event, 11 men’s teams and 4 ladies’ teams will play for the National Title with more than 200 players playing in an amazing atmosphere.

From all the players participating, a Selection will be chosen for the National Team as in the near future the Malta national team will take part in international competitions.

The association’s main sponsor is Heineken of Charles Grech Ltd. Event sponsors include Walkers and Doritos of Quintano Foods, Pago of Charles Grech Ltd and Ice Watch of Classic Jewellers. The technical sponsor is Puma – Tuttosport.
