Clive Mizzi is the new coach of Tarxien Rainbows following the resignation of Danilo Doncic.

Doncic had joined the Rainbows this summer after an eighteen-month spell with Sliema Wanderers. Tarxien lost narrowly to Valletta in their first BOV Premier League outing and last week, suffered a 3-2 defeat to Sliema after leading 2-1 with just a couple of minutes from the final whistle.

Ironically, former Pietà Hotspurs and Mqabba coach Clive Mizzi replaced Danilo Doncic at Sliema Wanderers this summer but earlier this month, he had quit his job after disagreement with the club.

Tarxien will be in action on Sunday as they take on Hamrun Spartans.
