Melita defender Jovan Vukanic was handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off in the game against Valletta on Sunday.

Pedro Calcado (Balzan) and Angel Yoshev (Hamrun) were also banned for one game after collecting a fourth yellow card.

Vukanic is therefore ruled out of the Amateurs’ next game against Tarxien Rainbows. Pedrinho will miss the game against Hibernians while Yoshev will be unavailable for the game against Valletta.

In Division 1, Roderick Briffa (Dingli), Ranier Buhagiar (Gudja) and Mattia Del Negro (Naxxar) were banned for one match. Gudja official George Caruana was also suspended for one match.

Neil Curmi (Fgura) and Elton Calleja (Siggiewi) were banned for two matches in Division 2 while Stacey Vella (Msida) was suspended for one match. Msida coach Twanny Dalli was also banned for two matches.

Clayton Goodrum (Santa Lucia) was suspended for one match in Division 3 while Swieqi United team manager Hani Arebi was also banned for one game.
