Floriana FC secured the services of goalkeeper Tony Warner.
Warner started his career at Liverpool and after spending time on loan at Swindon Town, Celtic and Aberdeen, he was transferred to Milwall in 1999.
There he spent five years before starting a long journey which took him to Cardiff City, Fulham, Leeds United, Norwich City, Barnsley, Hull City, Leicester City, Charlton Athletic, Scunthorpe United, Tranmere Rovers and Wellington Phoenix in Australia.
In the qualifiers leading to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Tony Warner played for Trinidad and Tobago but was not included in the 23 man squad for the finals.
Warner is the Greens’ sixth foreigner along with defenders Carl Tremarco and Aaron Brown, midfielders Aman Verma and Valdo Alhinho and striker Akanni-Sunday Wasiu.
Meanwhile the club is also negotiating the signing of former Everton and Arsenal striker Francis Jeffers who played for Newcastle Jets in Australia last season.
