The scheduled kick-off time is 17:00.
Elite Referee Mario Apap, who was appointed as the referee of the derby match between FK Spartaks vs FC Jūrmala at Slokas Stadium, Jūrmala in Latvia on Saturday 15th September, will act as 4th Official.
In a brief comment about these referees’ exchanges, MFA Director of Refereeing Adrian D. Casha stated “This is an exciting project that is now seeing other countries getting in touch with us to learn about the logistics of these exchanges. A small association like the Malta FA is the pioneer of such an incentive and we are proud that we have managed to collaborate successfully not only with neighbouring countries but also with distant countries like Latvia. The feedback received from various stakeholders in local football motivates us to continue exploring other initiatives.”
