After losing to Valletta and Sliema Wanderers in their last two outings, Hibernians will be aiming at returning to winning ways on Sunday as they take on Tarxien Rainbows in the derby in one of the two BOV Premier League matches in programme at the National Stadium.
The Paolites were a huge disappointment in their last outing and are definitely determined to claim the three points from this game in order to move back in second place after Birkirkara suffered a surprise loss to Hamrun Spartans.
The Rainbows’ morale is high after they managed to beat Mosta in their last outing – their third win in four matches.
Hibernians welcome back Clayton Failla after a three-month ban. Evaldo is ruled out for Tarxien as he is suspended.
Meanwhile in the first match, Qormi take on Melita.
Under the guidance of new coach Jesmond Zerafa, Qormi will be all out to claim the three points in their bid to climb out of the danger zone. They are currently tenth on seven points, five ahead of Rabat and six ahead of Melita. Qormi shared the spoils with Floriana in a 2-2 draw in their last outing.
The Amateurs are still chasing their first win and are coming from five consecutive defeats, losing 2-1 to Balzan two weeks ago.
