The club representing Malta in the UEFA Champions League 2013/14 will enter the competition in the second qualifying round which will be played on 16/17 July and 23/24 July.

In recent years, the Maltese club entered the first qualifying round even though in the past four years, this was reserved for the bottom four or six clubs in the competition.

Meanwhile the three Maltese clubs in the UEFA Europa League will be playing in the first qualifying round, scheduled for July 4 and 11.
