The Executive Committee of the Malta Football Association recommended a concession to Qormi head-coach Jesmond Zerafa to lead the team despite not being in possession of a UEFA A Licence.
According to MFA regulations, a coach of a Premier League club needs to have at least a UEFA A Licence. A newly-promoted club may have a Head-Coach with a UEFA B Licence for the first year but then has to appoint UEFA A licenced coach.
However the Executive Committee decided to give Jesmond Zerafa, who holds the UEFA B Licence, this concession as he is currently attending the UEFA A Licence Course.
