Marsaskala take sole leadership in the BOV Third Division after defeating Ghaxaq 1-0 and Senglea Athletic lose 2-4 to Mdina Knights.

Four teams now share the third place – Mdina Knights, Xghajra Tornadoes, Marsa and Sirens. Marsa defeated Mtarfa 3-0 while Xghajra Tornadoes beat Sirens 2-1.

Attard defeated Santa Lucia 2-1 while Luqa St. Andrew’s returned to winning ways beating Swieqi United 2-1. On the other hand, Qrendi came back from one goal down to beat Kalkara 6-1.

Marsaskala lead the way with 26 points, followed by Senglea on 23, Mdina, Xghajra, Marsa and Sirens on 21, Attard 17, Swieqi 14, Ghaxaq 12, Kalkara, Santa Lucia and Qrendi 9, Mtarfa 8, Ta’ Xbiex 6 and Luqa 4.
