Justin Attard announced that he had resigned from his post as Floriana president.
In a statement, Attard said “My resignation is solely due to personal reasons and I hold no regrets to have been in such a post of one of Malta’s biggest clubs and an MFA Council member for the past 4 months.”
“This decision came at the right time, leaving the club in a stable administrative situation and with a good chance of placing in the Championship Pool of this year’s Premier League.”
“Hopefully the club will announce the new President in due course, to whom I wish the best of luck.”
Attard had been appointed president of Floriana FC in August.
Meanwhile Floriana FC announced that Stephen Vaughan Jr has been appointed as the new president.
