San Gwann moved back in second place in the BOV Second Division thanks to a fine 4-0 win over Msida St. Joseph in the big match on Saturday. They lie five points behind leaders Zebbug Rangers who defeated Pembroke Athleta 2-0.

St. George’s defeated Gharghur 1-0 to move fourth while St. Patrick beat Fgura United 3-1 to join them in fourth place together with Zurrieq who defeated Siggiewi 4-1.

In another match, Kirkop United beat Mgarr United 4-1.

Zebbug lead the way with 28 points, followed by San Gwann on 23, Msida 22, St. George’s 21, St. Patrick, Zurrieq and Fgura 20, Siggiewi 18, Pembroke 17, Kirkop and Mellieha 16, St. Venera 10, Gharghur 8 and Mgarr 6.
