Seven Premier League players suspended

National StadiumRabat Ajax midfielder Manuel Moral Fuster was banned for two matches while another six players were suspended for one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Udo Nwoko (Floriana), Roderick Fenech (Hamrun), Ivan Tufegdzic (Melita), Luke Sciberras (Qormi), Clive Brincat (Rabat) and Andrew Agius (Tarxien) were all banned for one match. These, together with Moral Fuster, will therefore miss this weekend’s final league games.

Andrew Agius misses the Championship Pool clash against Birkirkara. Fenech and Tufegdzic are ruled out of Hamrun vs Melita, Moral Fuster and Brincat miss Rabat’s next game against Balzan while Sciberras and Nwoko are ruled out of Floriana vs Qormi.

William Camilleri was banned for one match in Division 1 while Dylan Micallef (Gharghur), Carmelo Farrugia (Pembroke), Peter Xuereb (San Gwann), Matthew Xerri (St. Patrick), Lee James Agius and Mauricio Osmar Rodrigues Britto (Zebbug) were banned for one match in Division 2.

In Division 3, Roderick Sammut (Mtarfa) was suspended for three matches while Joseph Meilak (Ghaxaq), Mark Ellil (Qrendi), Elton Catania and Glendon Refalo (Swieqi) were handed a one-match ban.
