The Malta Football Association announced a two-match loyalty discount ticket for next September’s 2014 FIFA World Cup home qualifiers against Denmark and Bulgaria in programme on Friday 6 and Tuesday 10 respectively.
This two-match loyalty discount ticket for adults costs €35 for the West Stand C, €20 for the Millennium Stand and €13 for the South Stand. Two-match loyalty discount ticket for children (under twelve) costs €15 for the West Stand C, €8 for the Millennium Stand and €4 for the South Stand.
This was announced by MFA CEO Bjorn Vassallo and MFA Head of Marketing Norman Saliba during a press conference on Tuesday.
Bjorn Vassallo said that preparation for these matches resumed on Monday and before these games, Malta will be playing a friendly match against Azerbaijan on August 14 away from home. He said that after a series of positive results in friendly matches against teams which are ranked higher than us and others who are more or less on the same level, Malta was constantly showing improvement, winning respect on the field of play.
The win over Armenia was the climax and now the team must remain focussed to continue to build on these good performances and results.
He said the Azerbaijan friendly may be the last friendly match to be played in August as UEFA changed the calendar for qualifiers as from the EURO 2016, with the introduction of the new ‘Week of Football’ concept.
The MFA CEO welcomed new national team assistant coach Silvio Vella.
