Two new foreigners for Valletta

Valletta FCValletta secured the services of two foreign international players – Gambian Aziz Corr Nyang and Tunisian Abdelkarim Nafti.

Twenty-nine year old striker Aziz Corr Nyang started a trial with Valletta last month but then turned out for Floriana in a match from the AME Cup before returning with the Citizens. After starting his career in Gambia, Nyang moved to Sweden where he played for IFK Lidingö, Djurgårdens IF, Åtvidabergs FF, Tyresö FF, Assyriska FF, GIF Sundsvall and IF Brommapojkarna.

Thirty-two year old Abdelkarim Nafti played for CS Sfaxien in Tunisia, Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Al-Merreikh in Sudan before returning to Tunisia, joining Club Africain.

The other foreign players on the books of the club are Italian goalkeeper Pietro Marino, Belgian defender Jason Vandelannoite, Gambian midfielder Hamza Barry, Brazilians Denni Rocha dos Santos and Rômulo Marques Antoneli and Nigerian striker Aud-Gustine James Obaje.
