Zebbug Rangers won the second edition of the King Long Derby Cup which was played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.

Qormi took the lead on the 27th minute thanks to Leighton Grech. Zebbug, however, turned the score in their favour thanks to a brace by Anderson Mendes Ribeiro, both when served by Mauricio Britto.

Qormi FC won last year’s edition, beating Zebbug 4-1.

The two teams take the opportunity to thank the two sets of supporters for attending and for their good behaviour on the stands. They also thank the family Fenech of Tumas Group for sponsoring the event.
