Malta will be playing the last home match from the 2014 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifiers against the Czech Republic on Friday 11th October at the National Stadium, kick-off at 19:30.
After the historic win over Armenia in June, Malta was rather unlucky to suffer two 1-2 home defeats to Denmark and Bulgaria earlier this month and against the Czech Republic, the team hopes to obtain a positive result, also considering the fact that Malta did obtain two draws in a European Championship qualifier in 1994 and a World Cup qualifier in 2000.
Details about the game were given by MFA Chief Executive Officer Bjorn Vassallo and MFA Head of Marketing Norman Saliba during a press conference at the National Stadium on Friday.
