Floriana’s Brazilian striker Igor Coronado is the BOV Player of the Month for October 2013.

Since joining Floriana, Coronado has enthralled the local football scene with his prowess in front of goal coupled with great pace and technique. The twenty-one year old quickly established himself in the local football scene and was voted as the best foreign player of the Premier League during last season’s Malta Football Association Awards.

Coronado certainly stole the show in Floriana’s 2-2 draw against Hibernians when he set up Floriana’s opener and then hit the equalizer himself to earn a valuable point against the BOV Premier League leaders. Coronado also netted Floriana’s winner in their 2-1 victory over Mosta during the month of October taking his tally for the season to five.
