Gzira United are the first team to reach the quarter-finals of the U*BET FA Trophy after defeating St. George’s 2-1 in a clash between two First Division sides at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.
Moises Avila Perez put Gzira ahead on 27 minutes. Anthony Bonello levelled matters on 56 minutes but three minutes later, Avila Perez notched the winner for the Maroons.
