Qormi – losing finalists in the last two editions of the U*BET FA Trophy – will be seeking a pace in the quarter-finals of the as they take on Tarxien Rainbows in one of the two fourth round matches in programme on Tuesday at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
Qormi had already defeated Tarxien twice this season – 6-2 and 3-0 – and therefore seek a third win over Clive Mizzi’s side.
In the third round, Qormi beat SK Victoria Wanderers 1-0 after extra-time. while Tarxien Rainbows defeated Second Division side Mellieha 1-0.
The game kicks-off at 20:15.
Meanwhile in the first match, First Division side St. Andrews take on BOV Premier League leaders Birkirkara, kick-off at 18:00.
The Stripes lead the Premier League table with a comfortable six-point lead and are coming from an impressive record of twelve successive wins. St. Andrews, on the other hand, are currently ninth in the BOV First Division and after a rather positive start, they failed to win any of the last eight matches.
In the previous rounds, St. Andrews defeated Third Division side Mgarr United 3-0 and Second Division side San Gwann 2-1. Birkirkara, on the other hand, beat another Premier League side Vittoriosa Stars 4-1.
