Birkirkara FC have appointed Mr Mark Bondin as the new Director of Youth Coaching. Mr. Bondin, who is holding a UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Licence, will be bringing with him years of coaching experience, being one of the main persons to have seen the birth and growth of Mqabba FC Youth Nursery, over the past 14 years.
The Director of Youth Coaching will be mainly responsible to develop and implement a technical plan for Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery, in order to achieve one of the Club’s main objectives, namely that of developing its own players for the senior squad.
Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery was one of the first football nurseries to be set up on the island. Its main achievements, of which the club is particularly proud of, are the current players playing at top local level in Maltese football, namely Rowen Muscat, Ryan Scicluna, Ryan Camenzuli, Joseph Zerafa and Kurt Zammit, all of them forming part of the Birkirkara FC Senior Squad, besides other players on loan with other Premier Division Clubs.
Mr Bondin will be working hand in hand with Birkirkara FC’s Head Coach Mr Paul Zammit, to oversee the development of youth players in the Nursery, backed with a team of qualified and experienced coaches.
Players, male and female, between the ages of 4 and 17 years, wishing to enrol with Birkirkara FC’s Youth Nursery are to contact the nursery administration by sending an email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling the Nursery Administrator Mrs. Tracy Camilleri on 7748 5474.
