Pembroke Athleta goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona had his fourteen-month ban reduced to seven matches following an appeal.

Calleja Cremona was reported for “pushing the referee with force” during the BOV Second Division match with San Gwann. However video evidence showed that this was not the case.

The Pembroke captain, who is also a member of the Malta Under-21 squad, will be able to return for his club in the fifth league game of next season.
