Under-17 players visit schools as part of Reach Out campaign

reach-out-in-schools1Players from the Malta Under-17 side visited a number of schools as part of the Reach Out campaign ahead the UEFA Under-17 Championship which will be held in Malta next May.

Joseph Mbong, Iousef Meli, Jamie Azzopardi and Kyrian Nwoko, together with coach Sergio Soldano visited the St. Aloysius Primary School in Balzan and the St. Ignatius College Siggiewi Primary School. Jamie Azzopardi, Christian Degabriele and Isaac Abela together with Soldano then visited St. Elias College in Sta. Venera and the St. Margaret College Cospicua Girls Secondary School.

The players encouraged students to attend for the matches involving the Malta Under-17 national team in the UEFA Under-17 Championship. They posed for photos with students, distributed brochures and signed autographs.

They had also the opportunity to view the projects done by students focussing on the participating countries and the theme of RESPECT.
