Abdelkarim Nafti, Steve Borg to miss U*BET FA Trophy

20110417-114224.jpgSteve Borg and Abdelkarim Nafti are ruled out for Valletta from the U*BET FA Trophy after being handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner on Wednesday.

Apart from Borg and Nafti, Paul Fenech (Birkirkara), Victor Bellia and Terence Scerri (Naxxar), Samir Arab, Marcelo Pereira, Luke Vella Critien and Leonardo Torri (Vittoriosa) were also banned for one match while Pedro dos Santos Calcado (Balzan) and Clive Brincat (Vittoriosa) were both banned for three matches.

On Friday, Steven Pisani and Emmanuel Ibok Edet (Floriana) were also banned for one match on Friday.

Naxxar Lions masseur Cedric Sciberras was banned for two matches.

In Division 1, Daniel Scerri (Lija) and Stefan Giglio (Zurrieq) were banned for one match while Aaron Agius (Zurrieq) was suspended for three matches.

Dylan Mercieca (Dingli), Iro Curmi (Fgura), Neil Caruana (Gharghur), Luke Cauchi (Mellieha) and Richard Galea (St. Patrick) were banned for one match in Division 2 while Elon Cassar (Attard), Nigel Spiteri (Attard), Jacob Camilleri (Kalkara), Christian Tabone and Matthew Muscat (Mgarr), Chris Farrugia (Qrendi), Kristian Galea (Sirens), Mohammed Senussi (Santa Lucia) and Jurgen Tabone (Xghajra) were suspended for one match in Division 3. Klinsmann Grech (Luqa) was banned for two matches. Santa Lucia official John Urry was handed a two-match ban.
