Sliema Wanderers Under-17 side won the double in the competitions organised by the Youth Football Association as the final of the Under-17 Knock-Out brought to an end the season.
In the final, Sliema defeated Paola Hibs 3-0 thanks to a brace by Aiden Jake Friggieri and a goal by Luca Brincat.
The Wanderers earlier this season won the APS Bank Under-17 League Section A, finishing no less than ten points ahead of runners-up Pietà Hotspurs and Hamrun Spartans.
Meanwhile Birkirkara and Pembroke Athleta will be playing in Section B next season after finishing in the bottom two places in the Relegation Pool.
In the APS Bank Under-17 League Section B, Balzan emerged as winners after beating Floriana in a direct clash in their final game. The two teams will therefore play in Section A next season. Msida St. Joseph and Zejtun Corinthians were relegated to Section C.
Section C1 winners Rabat Ajax and Section C2 winners Mellieha failed to secure promotion as Section C1 runners-up Naxxar Lions and Section C2 runners-up Zebbug Rangers took the two promotion spots in the Promotion Play-Offs.
