FIFA has awarded Israel a 3-0 win over Malta for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier which was played on May 7 due to the ineligibility of Dorianne Theuma. Israel had won the match at the Centenary Stadium 2-0.
Theuma had picked a second yellow card in the previous game on the 91st minute but this went unnoticed by the association. Somehow UEFA also failed to notify the MFA about the suspension as it is custom.

Dorianne Theuma therefore had to serve a further ban and missed the last two games against Serbia and Iceland in June.
Malta plays Denmark away from home on September 13 before hosting group winners Switzerland on September 17 in the final match.
