In view of the UEFA Under-19 Championship mini-tournament, the Malta Under-19 side will be playing three friendly matches in Sicily between the 30th August and 3rd September.
Malta will be facing ACR Messina on Saturday at the Stadio San Filippo in Messina, Mascalucia on Monday at the Campo Comunale in Mascalucia and Calcio Catania on Wednesday at the Stadio Torre del Grifo, Catania.
Under-19 coach Wayne Attard and his assistant Charles Scerri named a number of players who were part of the Under-17 squad which took part in the UEFA Under-17 Championship finals.
The squad is made up of:

In the UEFA Under-19 Championship, Malta was drawn in Group 6 together with the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland and Gibraltar. The mini-tournament will be held between the 13th and 18th November.
