Leaders Hibernians hope to maintain a perfect start with a sixth win from as many matches as take on Zebbug Rangers in one of the four matches in programme on Saturday.
Valletta target a third successive win in the game against Floriana, Balzan aim at returning to winning ways against Tarxien Rainbows while Naxxar Lions hope for a first win as they take on Floriana.
Balzan vs Tarxien Rainbows, kick-off 17:00 at National Stadium
After claiming ten points from the first four matches, Balzan succumbed to their first defeat, losing 0-1 to Mosta on Sunday and now lie in fourth place. However returning to winning ways will not be an easy task as Tarxien are one of three teams who are still unbeaten as they registered a first win on Saturday, beating Naxxar Lions, after four draws in the first four matches.
Gianmarco Piccioni returns for Balzan after serving a one-match ban but Dylan Grima is still ruled out injured. Goalkeeper Jonathan Debono could be back for Tarxien after recovering from an injury.
Valletta vs Qormi, kick-off 19:00 at National Stadium
Following an emphatic 5-0 win over Sliema Wanderers, champions Valletta target a third successive win against Qormi. However Qormi will be trying to earn something from the game after losing three out of the last four matches, losing 0-2 to Birkirkara last week.
Steve Borg, Jonathan Caruana and Christian Caruana are ruled out injured but Abdelkarim Nafti could be back after missing the last game. Qormi could not count on the injured Mauricio Mazzetti and Emerson Vella.
Zebbug Rangers vs Hibernians, kick-off 17:00 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Hibernians will be aiming for a sixth win as take a Zebbug Rangers side, confident after collecting two points in two 3-3 draws in their last two outings. The Paolites have the strongest forward line so far with new recruit Jorge Pereira da Silva scoring five of the thirteen goals scored by Hibernians.
Both sides are expected to be in full strength with no players injured or suspended.
Naxxar Lions vs Floriana, kick-off 19:15 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Naxxar continue to chase their first win after winning just two points from the first five matches, losing 1-2 to Tarxien last week. The Greens, on the other hand, earned four points from the last two matches following a 3-1 win over Pietà and a 3-3 draw with Zebbug.
Floriana coach Giovanni Tedesco could not count on the suspended Steve Bonnici. Naxxar, on the other hand, will be lacking the injured David Fenech and Sidney da Silva.
