Three Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner on Wednesday following the weekend’s matches.
Carlos Menendez Hevia (Tarxien) was banned for three matches, Angus Buhagiar (Naxxar) for two while Bojan Kaljevic (Mosta) was handed a one-match ban.
Menendez Hevia is ruled out of Tarxien’s next three games against Birkirkara, Hibs and Qormi. Buhagiar will miss the games against Hibs and Zebbug while Kaljevic is ruled out of Mosta vs Qormi.
In Division 1, Zachary Tanti (Rabat) was banned for one match while Jeremy Farrugia (San Gwann) was suspended for one match in Division 2.
In Division 3, Clint Caruana (Mdina) and Joel Felice (Ta’ Xbiex) was banned for two matches while Karl Sammut (Mtarfa) was suspended for one match. St. Venera kit manager Johann Vella was suspended for one year while Raymond Farrugia was suspended for two matches.
