Ghedin names provisional squad for Bulgaria EURO qualifier

National coach Pietro Ghedin named a provisional 25-man squad ahead of the fourth game from the EURO 2016 qualifier against Bulgaria at the Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia on Sunday 16th November.

The squad features some new faces including Balzan goalkeeper Steve Sultana, Tarxien defender Owen Bugeja and Floriana midfielder Brooke Farrugia.

Valletta defender Steve Borg and captain Michael Mifsud of Sliema Wanderers are ruled out through suspension after being sent off in the games against Croatia and Italy respectively. Gareth Sciberras, on the other hand, is still recovering from an injury.
