Valletta stole the show at the Corradino Pavillion after beating Qormi 7-3 in a match between two teams who are seeking a spot in the final play-offs.
Qormi broke the deadlock after just four minutes through Basil Emeka Onuta. However Valletta reacted well and managed to turn the tables after netting four goals before the break thanks to a brace by Xavier Saliba, Javier Montes Burgos and an own goal.
In the second half, things did not change much as the Yellow/Blacks had to succumb to three more goals by Xavier Saliba, Denis di Maio and Javier Montes Burgos. Marwan Telisi and Blendi Gockaj found the time to reduce the arrears for Qormi.
Luxol, who are leading the table and still undefeated, found the going tough against an organized Zebbug side but managed to win 10-5.
