Dr. Adrian Delia is the new president of Birkirkara F.C. after being elected to the post during the first meeting of the committee for season 2015/16. He replaces Joe Zammit who had decided not to stand for re-election.
During the club’s Annual General Meeting which was held on Thursday, Delia had obtained the largest number of votes.
Meanwhile Matthew Calascione will be serving as Vice President for International Affairs while Frank Zarb will serve as Vice President for Local Affairs. Jonathan Friggieri and Ivan Mizzi will be acting as secretary and treasurer respectively with Joseph Licari and Nicholas Grima as assistant secretary and assistant treasurer respectively.
Michael Bonnici and Peter Busuttil are the other two members of the committee.
The club will be holding discussions with coach Paul Zammit over his future despite leading the Stripes to winning the BOV Super Cup and the FA Trophy this season.
Former Floriana coach Giovanni Tedesco is being tipped as a possible replacement for Zammit.
