Floriana continued to strenghten their squad with the signing of another two foreigners – Nigerian midfielder Simeon Ezeadi Chukwuneme and Brazilian striker Juninho Cabral.
Twenty-seven year old Simeon Ezeadi Chukwuneme has been playing in Italy for the past seven yars, playing for Osimana, Gaeta, Budoni, Sant’Elia and Muravera
On the other hand, twenty-three year old Juninho Cabral started his career with Desportivo Brasil in Brazil before moving to Norway to join SK Brann in 2010. He then moved to another Norwegian club FK Fyllingsdalen. He returned to Brazil in 2013 to join Araxa.
Chukwuneme and Juninho bring the total of new foreigners to seven following the signing of Federico Usai, Nicolas Hernan Chiesa, Mario Fontanella, Mauricio Villa and Ubay Luzardo Santana.
On the other hand, out of last year’s foreigners Senegalese striker Amadou Samb will probably be the only foreigner to stay as following the departure of Valerio Senatore to Balzan, Vito Plut and Marcelina Emerson to Birkirkara and the release of Gary Muir, Igor Coronado is likely to join Trapani in the Italian Serie B and Marco Piciollo is set to join Lupa Castelli Romani.
