Seven Premier League players suspended

Sliema Wanderers midfielder Pedro dos Santos Calcado was banned for three matches while another six players were suspended for one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

The players to be suspended for one match are Birkirkara’s Paul Fenech and Joseph Zerafa, Steve Pisani of Floriana, Hassan Y’au of Mosta, Luke Dimech of Sliema and Llywelyn Cremona of Valletta.

Pedrinho is therefore ruled out of Sliema’s next three games against Tarxien, Valletta and Pembroke. Luke Dimech also misses the Tarxien game.

Birkirkara will be without Fenech and Zerafa for the game against Naxxar, Pisani and Y’au are ruled out of Mosta vs Floriana while Llywelyn Cremona misses the game against St. Andrews.

In Division 1, Bjorn Bondin (Gudja), Clint Farrugia (Mqabba) and Josef Cutajar (San Gwann) were banned for one match. Also banned for one match were officials Raymond Colombo of San Gwann and George Attard of Senglea.

Josef Felice was suspended for one game in Division 2 while Noel Bilocca (Ghaxaq), Jonathan Zahra (Kalkara), Ryan D’Amato (Marsaxlokk), Alex Demarco and Daniel Cluett (Mdina) and Miguel Agius (Ta’ Xbiex) were banned for one match in Division 3. Kalkara coach James Camilleri was suspended for two matches while Mdina official Ian Tonna was suspended for six matches.
