Malta will be hosting Moldova in a friendly match on Thursday 24th March.
The Malta Football Association has been discussing with a number of associations with regards to friendly matches in view of the European Qualifiers leading to the 2018 FIFA World Cup which kick-off in September.
Another friendly match could be played in March, another two in May/June and one in August before the first World Cup qualifier against Scotland in programme on September 4th at Ta’ Qali.

In a friendly in March 1999, Moldova won 2-0 at Ta’ Qali, then won 1-0 in a friendly match at home in August 2000.
