Ryan Darmanin joined Birkirkara from Balzan. The 30-year old striker signed an eighteen-month deal with the Stripes.
A product of Floriana, Darmanin made his Premier League debut in season 2003/04. Apart from a spell with Tarxien Rainbows in Division 1 in season 2006/07 and a six-month loan with Marsaxlokk in 2011/12, he always played for the Greens until being transferred to Balzan in January 2013.
Darmanin is the Stripes’ seventh signing in the January transfer window and the second Maltese player to join the club after Matthew Guillaumier.
