Qrendi and Zejtun Corinthians shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in the top-of-the-table clash from the BOV Second Division at the Sirens Stadium on Sunday.

An own goal put Qrendi ahead six minutes in the second half and four minutes later, Giovanni Galea doubled the score. Mauro Brincat reduced the gap on the 58th and five minutes from time, the same player equalised for Zejtun.

Siggiewi held San Gwann in a goalless draw at the Luxol Stadium.

Zabbar St. Patrick defeated Mgarr United 2-1 at the Charles Abela Stadium. Clayton Camilleri put the Saints ahead on the 11th minute, Samuel Buhagiar doubled the score on the 67th and two minutes later, James Borg scored a consolation goal for Mgarr.

Gudja United defeated Attard 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. Adrian Cutajar put Gudja ahead five minutes from the end of the first half. Fires Aboulezz converted a penalty on the 73rd minute to level matters but Alan Cutajar notched the winner on the 90th minute.

A goal on the 69th minute by Shamison Farrugia gave Mellieha a narrow win over Marsaxlokk at the Charles Abela Stadium.

Swieqi United defeated Ghaxaq 2-0 at the Luxol Stadium thanks to goals by Kenneth Ekezie on the 9th minute and Roderick Tatiana on the 58th.

Qrendi and Zejtun lead the way with 20 points, followed by San Gwann on 19, Zabbar 16, Birzebbuga 13, Siggiewi 12, St. George’s, Attard and Swieqi 10, Mellieha 8, Marsaxlokk 7, Gudja 6, Mgarr 5 and Ghaxaq 2.
