Kirkop United and Birkirkara will be contesting the final of the Women’s Knock-Out after both emerged as winners in the two semi-finals at the Centenary Stadium on Tuesday.
In the first semi-final, Kirkop United beat Mgarr United 2-0. Alessia Caschetto put Kirkop ahead on the 37th minute and Demi Magrin sealed the issue with a second goal three minutes in added time.
Birkirkara, on the other hand, defeated rivals Hibernians 4-0. Tracy Theuma put Birkirkara ahead on the 16th minute, Gabriella Zahra doubled the score on the 36th and a brace by Alishia Sultana on the 65th and 71st handed the Stripes a place in the final.
Meanwhile on Monday, Raiders (Luxol) secured their First Division status after defeating Second Division runners-up Mosta 3-0 at the Centenary Stadium. Rodianne Zerafa managed to break the deadlock on the 67th minute. Six minutes later, Rohanne Zahra doubled the score and Rodianne Zerafa sealed the issue with a third goal on the 75th.
