Malta international striker Rachel Cuschieri joined RSC Anderlecht Dames ’71 after spending the last three years with Apollon Ladies FC.

A former player of Birkirkara, Cuschieri moved to Cyprus in summer 2014 and helped Apollon Ladies win the championship three times and the cup another three times.

RSC Anderlecht Dames ’71, earlier known as Brussels D71, won one Belgian championship and four national cups as Brussels D71 between 1984 and 1991, and three championships and five cups as Anderlecht between 1994 and 2005, including doubles in 1987 and 1998. They won the Cup a record ten times. However their last league title goes back to 1998 and since then they finished in the runner-up spot seven times.
