Tarxien Rainbows signed another two new players as they secured the services of Italian striker Michele Paolucci and Brazilian forward Jacson da Paixão Neponuceno.
Thirty-two year old Michele Paolucci joins the Rainbows after an unsuccessful spell with Floriana after joining them in January. A product of Juventus, he played for Ascoli, Udinese, Atalanta, Catania, Siena, Palermo, Vicenza, Latina, Petrolul Ploiesti in Romania, Anconitana and Monopoli. He played for Italy at Under-17, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
Jacson da Paixão Neponuceno is 28 years old and at started his career at AD Bahia de Feira. He later played for EC Victoria, Oeste, Colo-Colo, Gostaresh Foolad in Iran, UR Trabalhadore and Treze.
Tarxien renewed the loan of central defender Luke Grech from Hamrun Spartans and signed a new three-year deal with Matthew Spiteri.
The Rainbows have so far signed Jens Wemmer, Marco Botta, Anderson Francisco de Barros, agreed new deals with Andrea Cassar and Ricardo Silva Faria and renewed the loan deal of Gabriel Aquilina for another season.
