Birkirkara FC secured the services of former Bosnia-Herzegovina international player, Muamer Svraka. Svraka signed a short-term contract until the end of the season.
Thirty-one year old midfielder Muamer Svraka played for the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team between between 2011 and 2013, scoring two goals in six appearances.
A product of FK Željezničar Sarajevo, he had a spell on loan with FK Travnik in Bosnia-Herzegovina in season 2009/10. He was transferred to Paykan FC in Iran in summer 2014 where he spent one year. The following season, he moved to NK Istra in Croatia and the following year, he played for Semen Padang in Indonesia. Svraka moved back to Sarajevo to join FK Olimpik and later moved to NK Rudes in Croatia. Last January, he joined
FC Levadia Tallin in Estonia
Muamer Svraka is Birkirkara’s first signing this January. The club has earlier transferred Edward Herrera to Floriana and released Nigerian midfielder Uchenna Calistus Umeh.
