Myles Beerman’s loan spell with Birkirkara came to an end on Monday. The nineteen year old left-back had joined the Stripes towards the end of August. However he managed just one start and was included as a substitute seven times for less than three hours of playing time over these four months.
A product of Floriana, Beerman, formally joined Manchester City in 2014 although he had actually moved to Manchester earlier. He moved to Rangers in 2016, making his senior team debut in the latter part of season 2016/17. In January 2018, he joined Scottish Championship club Queen of the South on loan.
Beerman has represented Malta at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, making his senior national team debut in June 2017 in a friendly match against Ukraine.
