Italian Serie C side SS Monza arrived in Malta on Monday for a training camp which will be held at the Hibernians Stadium.
Led by coach Cristian Brocchi, a former player of Verona, Inter, AC Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio, the team currently lies in a mid-table position in the Serie C Girone B.
The team will be holding two training sessions daily and will play a friendly match against Hamrun Spartans before they return to Italy on January 13.
Former AC Milan president and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi took over the club last September. Adriano Galliani is the club’s Chief Executive Officer (Amministratore Delegato) – the same post he had at AC Milan.
