Three new signings for Senglea Athletic

After signing Marcelo Dias earlier this week, Senglea Athletic secured the services of another three players – Manolito Micallef, Andrei Spiteri and goalkeeper Anthony Curmi.

A product of Floriana, thirty-five year old Manolito Micallef played for several clubs in his career, including Lija Athletic, Hamrun Spartans, Mosta, Pembroke Athleta, Naxxar Lions and Qormi.

Nineteen-year old Andrei Spiteri is a product of Hibernians. He had spells with ASD Katane Soccer in Italy and CD Leganes before returning to Malta last January and joining the Paolites.

Thirty-six year old Anthony Curmi is a product of Valletta but moved to Tarxien Rainbows at the age of sixteen. Later he had spells with Sliema Wanderers and Hamrun Spartans before joining Gzira United in 2014, first on loan and last season on a definite transfer.

Meanwhile Leighton Grech and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia have agreed new deals with the club while Taisei Marukawa was confirmed for next season.
